Neocites is a free web hosting service that seems to revive the support of the now-defunct GeoCities. It offers 1 gigabyte (GB) of storage for free sites. The goal of Neocities is "to enable you to harness the creativity, beauty, and power of creating your own web site. To rebuild the web we lost to automation and monotony, and make it fun again"[1]. It hosts more than 460,000 sites.
